McDonald's Reports August Sales

McDonald's Corporation (NYSE: MCD) reported today that Systemwide sales for August 2000 were $3,596 million, an increase of 8% on a constant currency basis* compared with August 1999. For the first eight months of 2000, Systemwide sales were $26,974 million, reflecting a 7% constant currency increase.
