McDonald's Names Mats Lederhausen as Executive Vice President - Strategy & Business Development

McDonald's Corporation (NYSE: MCD) today announced the promotion of Mats Lederhausen, Senior Vice President - Corporate Strategy, to Executive Vice President -Strategy and Business Development.

Lederhausen began his McDonald's career as a restaurant crew member in Sweden in 1979, subsequently holding restaurant management and director of operations positions.
Upon completing his graduate work at the Stockholm School of Economics, he worked at the Boston Consulting Group. In 1990, he returned to McDonald's where he assumed responsibilities as Managing Director and Joint Venture Partner for McDonald's Sweden. Under his leadership, he grew the company from 40 restaurants to nearly 170 restaurants.
He joined McDonald's Corporation in 1999 as Vice President - Corporate Strategy.
