McDonald's Corporation Promotes Chris Cole to Chief Financial Officer Of McDonald's U.S.A.

McDonald's Corporation (NYSE: MCD) today announced the promotion of Chris Cole to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of McDonald's U.S.A. Ms. Cole, a 24-year McDonald's veteran, was most recently the Financial Controller for McDonald's Central Division -- where she managed financial accounting and reporting for more than 4,000 company-owned and franchised McDonald's restaurants in the Midwestern United States.

"Chris Cole consistently demonstrates leadership, skill and fiscal responsibility with a hands-on management style that has proven successful for the company and our franchisees," said Mike Roberts, President of McDonald's U.S.A. "Chris is a strong addition to McDonald's U.S. Senior Leadership Team and will further strengthen McDonald's U.S. Plan to Win."

A Chicago native, Cole is an alumni of Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Accounting in 1975. Prior to joining McDonald's, Cole worked as a Certified Public Accountant at Haskins & Sells in Chicago -- now Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. McDonald's hired her as a staff accountant in 1979.

Ms. Cole is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She and her husband have three children and live in suburban Chicago.
